As a church family we are navigating this new season together. Although we cannot meet in person, it does not mean that we are alone! Many of our groups have moved to an online format so we can continue helping each other heal and grow!
Cottonwood remains committed to helping everyone stay connected with God and with others through this season. All of our Weekend services and Wednesday night bible studies will be live-streamed on live.cottonwood.org. We also have daily devotionals available on all social media outlets and online at cottonwood.org.
The Care Team is looking into other avenues to stay connected and encourage one another through this difficult season. So stay tuned.
We pray peace and health over you and your households over these coming weeks!
The Care Team
II Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear. He gave us a spirit of power, love and sound mind.
Come join us and others as we walk the pathway together of the “Eight Recovery Principles” found in Jesus’ Beatitudes from Matthew 5. Together, we can find peace, serenity, and joy as we develop a stronger personal relationship with God.
No registration or sign-up required. You do not need to be a member of Cottonwood Church to attend Celebrate Recovery. Spanish interpretation is available.

8:00 pm — 9:00 pm: Open share Group
This is the time to break into recovery-specific group and gender.

If you are new to celebrate recovery or a visitor, please join us at Newcomers 101.
Newcomers 101 is offered every Friday night.
The first half of our time at Newcomers 101 is to explain how Celebrate Recovery works and to help you find a group to attend next week. This group is a “one time” attendance only. During the second half of our time, this group will be divided into a men’s and women’s group in order to address specific questions.
9:00 pm —10:00 pm: Coffee Connection
Join us for coffee, refreshments and dessert in the Main Sanctuary. This is a great time to fellowship with those in your group.
Step Studies are the heart of the Celebrate Recovery program. This is where the hard work of an individual’s recovery is done. It is our hope that all of the participants in this ministry will go through a Step Study at least once.
Step Study Groups are a second type of Celebrate Recovery small groups. They meet on different times than our Friday night large group and open share groups. The step study groups actually go through the four Celebrate Recovery participant’s guides together. They answer and discuss the questions at the end of each lesson together. They close the group after they have completed the lessons on the third principle at the end of the first participant’s guide. Step study groups meet together for ten months. There are separate groups for men and women.
The step study is where we get into the heart of the program and true healing from life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits.
Step studies begin as we have a group of men or women ready to commit ten months to their recovery. Most times we recommend attending our Friday night Celebrate Recovery worship and open share groups for several months before joining a step study.
Note: Please purchase your participant guides and CR Bible prior to attending your first Step Study meeting.
Support the work of CR through giving. All donations go directly into the CR ministry to continue the work of helping people find recovery from their hurts, habits, and hang-ups.
