  • Roadblock – Makes you turn around
  • Tollbooth – Allows you to go forward if you pay a price
• Deny Yourself –
  • We do not lose our personality; we are called to be the best version of ourselves
  • How can we make ourselves more available to others?
• Take Up Your Cross –
  • “Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.”
  • We are forever transitioning from darkness to light

• Follow Me –
  • God enjoys an authentic relationship with us
  • It is not just guidance from the Holy Spirit, but also the body. Do we have friends in your life who will point us to Jesus?

• Can I be myself and still make disciples?
• How simple can it be to deny myself?
  • What’s a sacrifice we can make for the benefit of another?
• What area of life is God asking you to deny yourself?
• Am I allowed to question God when His instructions make no sense?
  
  

CHALLENGE

• What is one small thing you can lay down in obedience to Jesus this week?
• Tell a trusted person the cross you are carrying.
